This project asks to photograph two pictures of the same subject viewed from the same angle but at different distances with different lens. With the longer distance being photographed with a telephoto and the close up with a wideangle. the subject is supposed to fill the frame. For this exercise i shot a windmill in brighton.
The first one at 170mm the image looks balanced representing a conventional angle of view. the windmill looks very static. Even if it had been spinning and we had taken the photo in a slow speed capturing the movement, it would still look static.
The second frame has a stronger presence as it makes the viewer see it from an angle bellow it emphasises the size of the windmill, this process exaggerates size it also induces dynamism. it almost represents the windmill in movement . The windmill blades look more exaggerated in size as the distance in between them and the camera decreases .
