This project is an exercise with the aim of illustrating the different characteristics between the different focal lengths. for this it was asked to shoot 3 frames of the same subject from the same location at distinct lengths: wideangle, standard and telephoto. I shot a scenery of grass with an industrial chimney raising from the top of a hill at the end. this was shot on the fourth of june 2010 on the hills of brighton on a road to a place called the devils dyke the first picture was taken at 18mm on aperture priority at 1/160sec the aperture as set at f/11. the second picture was taken at 50mm with the same settings. finally the last one was taken at 200mm with the same settings but the shutter speed at 1/125sec. All frames were taken at 100 ISO.
The telephoto is the print i had to hold the further away in order for it to look the same size as reality.
